My name is Rhiannon and I am currently working as a French teacher. I have been working as a teacher for the past five years, but this is my first time teaching kindergarten since teacher's college. Eeeek! I forgot how much work it is! As part of the FDK kindergarten program I have 22-25 JK and SK students (typically ages 3 and 4 or pre-k and kindergarten) in each of my classes. As challenging as it is, I love it! I have fabulous Early Childhood Educators in each of the classes I work in and am so lucky and grateful for their support. What a perfect time to be embarking on this new adventure as I am currently taking my Master's in Early Childhood Studies. How great it will be to be able to take what I am learning through my studies and use it in my classes. This blog is a way to keep you all posted on my learning.
